My Car Has All Those Safety Cameras — Will They Still Work?

If your car has those modern driver assistance features — lane keep, automatic braking, collision alerts — there’s a camera right behind your windshield running all of that. When you get a new windshield, that camera can shift just enough to throw everything off.

Once we’re done, we ask that you wait at least an hour before driving so the adhesive can properly bond. Houston’s heat actually helps here — warm temps speed up curing. Cold fronts or high humidity can slow things down a bit, and your tech will let you know if they recommend waiting longer. We never rush this part.
